EXTreMe Sofa by Mauro Lipparini for Saporiti Italia
Italian designer Mauro Lipparini created the Etreme Sofa for Saporiti Italia. The collection includes sofas, armchairs and tables with well defined basic frames and main characteristics but with free geometries and finishes so the end user could choose them. The sofas and armchairs have freely configurable, large platforms so the forms are very flexible, also the degree of comfort.
There were used materials like woven, decorated or laser-cut leathers by Foglizzo, mat or high gloss lacquers. Refined and sophisticated, those are the words that would define the work of Mauro Lipparini. Even the tablets can be customized by shapes, finishing and surfaces. Their surfaces are very important for the design, made by wood or lacquer, they can be decorated and inlayed with refined designs and patterns. On this step traditional techniques are putted in use in order to obtain a special, unique model. Not only wood or precious materials are chosen, but also steel, aluminium, titanium- innovative materials.
