Small Charming Apartment in Sydney Designed on the Idea of Sliding Doors
This small apartment is designed by the Australian Minosa Design Studio, and it is located on Bondi Beach, Sydney. Functionality and comfort are the two main issues when it comes to small apartments.
This apartment tries to solve this problem by giving the impression that it is more space then actually is in this house. Once the problem of space being resolved, the apartment has a nice looking, being fresh, clean and looking bigger than it is. As you can see from these pictures, the kitchen appears to be the core of the house, majestically built and inviting you to enjoy a fine morning breakfast together with the whole family. The heart of the kitchen consists of a table for ten, luscious (and with expendable part). It incorporated plenty of shelves that can be easily hidden, the main idea of designing this place being that of hiding parts of the kitchen under sliding doors, in order to create space. The walls are painted in white, enhancing the idea of space, increasing light and offering cleanliness and serenity, so the idea of massive sliding walls embracing the kitchen area was a bright one.
The bathroom is luxuriant, still white, enjoying bathroom rounded windows and globes for lightning, transforming the small place into a charming and cozy dream apartment.
