This is an inspiring modern residence located in Tiburon, California, placed above San Francisco Bay, a dream home designed by California-based studio Swatt Miers Architects.
They succeeded to transform the old existing house into a spectacular contemporary residence, called Garay House. From its highness the residence overlooks the serene surrounding landscape and enjoys inviting open spaces led by the swimming pool. The residence has a collection of bug rooms with large interior spaces, with natural light coming from the large wide windows and skylights. Altered to guide the views across the bay and obstruct views from the north, the Californian home showcases cantilevered roof elements extending the house towards the water and seamlessly connecting indoor spaces to outdoors.
The interiors are spacious, elegant, with modern and comfortable furniture, well equipped kitchen and elegant bathrooms, everything being opened, creating the impression of a continuous communication between the indoor and the outdoor spaces.
