A Perfect Residence Both for Work and for Relaxation in a Suspended Architectural Design Connecting Indoor/Outdoor Spaces

The G House in Ramat HaSharon, Israel is a project designed by Freshome, being a part of Paz Gersh Architects’ portfolio. The contemporary residence seems to be set half inside, half outside, floating above the green grass surrounding and sitting comfortable on a magic carpet of pebbles that appear like a shadow under the construction.

The house enjoys an incredibly seamless connection between indoors and outdoors, connection which is realized by sliding doors and windows that unite the suspended balcony to the main residential zones – living room, dining room and kitchen. The walls are made up from glass, capturing all the day light and bringing it inside, flooding the whole house into natural light, increasing spaces and making nature to take part into the everyday life of the family. Guarded by trees, the wooden front entrance reveals a large living space, modern furniture and office equipment, leading you from the ground level to the mezzanine level with glass railings opens to the social spaces below, creating another strong connection between spaces, proving that this is the residence’s defining feature.

The indoors are characterized by simple and elegant furniture, white spaces and modern details, everything radiating comfort and luxury. This is, on my opinion, the perfect house both for work and for relaxation in the middle of your family.
