Havøysund Tourist Route is a concrete construction designed by Reiulf Ramstad Architects. Its simple and interesting design will magnify the sensation of going from the roadside to the seaside and to enjoy the spectacular views during this time.
The designers had the idea to bring in addition a new functionality: to slow down the movement and to make the road itself an interesting experience for those who will want to try it.
The first thing that the architects thought about was to replace the concept of combining the staircase and ramp with a new development, so that it could make the ramp a usual entryway, which will eventually improve the design of the project. In order to reduce the movement, the ramp must have the sight size due to the inclination of the location. construction is located on a landscape that provides some great views and will make the journey a ‘one in a million’ opportunity
The main purpose of the project was to create a human detail in the location and to bring the whole attention, by combining the unique experience with the huge dimensions of the chosen place.
