Terminal 2, Mexico City Airport by SPACE

Terminal 2 in the Mexico City Airport was designed by SPACE as a contemporary and multi-functional final departure lounge.
Sitting for hours in an airport is not a pleasure especially if you stare at a space that is everything but intriguing, in an uncomfortable seating. Waiting became bright in this airport, now you can enjoy private meeting rooms, informal meeting areas with virtual divisions, Wi-Fi and support areas, lounges for a game of dominos or cards, a small massage room, and a beauty-hairdresser’s salon.
This project consumed just 50% of the energy that other similar spaces commonly do and it also utilized recycled materials.
