Dinesh Mill Bungalow is designed by Atelier dnD and it is located in Baroda, India. This is a house to live in! The house is minimalist, having simple and clear lines. It is very relaxing and fluid, full of transparent corners, where the interior and the exterior blend into each other.
The public swimming pool is connected with the private pool, in an attempt to make the outdoors become intimate, in order to feel secluded from everybody else. The landscape is located outside Vadodara city and the real challenge here was that of preserving the natural vegetation that abounded on the plot. The driveway leads to a white cantilever porch which is the main entrance for the house. There are three terraces prefacing the living and the bedrooms spaces. An external staircase leads one to terrace which features open Jacuzzi capturing the vast green forest around the site.
Large floor to ceiling windows makes the connection between exterior and interior, allowing natural light to flood the inner spaces. The house is luminous and exotic, abounding in relaxing places and the open space from the swimming pool, together with the luxurious vegetation, form a perfect space for leisure, recreation and peace of mind and soul.
