Beau Constance Residence – A Dream Home Reflecting Marriage Between Nature and Architecture
The Beau Constance Residence is designed and completed by Metropolis Design and it is located in Constantia Nek up on Vlakkenberg which is a 225-hectare previously livestock farm that was redeveloped into a small-scale wine farm.
The residence is unique through its captivating marriage of nature and architecture. The house is situated on a farm, among an amazing natural landscape. The modern architectural design is based on minimal details the beautiful nature surrounding defining the rest and transforming this residence into a dream home. The subtle touch is apparent throughout the house and exteriorly it looks comfortably settled as a single volume sitting on a loose landscape, which defined the main living area. The house abounds in space and natural light, being in perfect harmony with the landscape outside its walls. The floor to ceiling walls allows nature to penetrate the inside of the residence and to reflect the green hills surrounding. It is a perfect place for meditation, maintaining a perfect equilibrium between body and soul.
The interior design is simple and minimalist, a few pieces of comfortable and elegant furniture, flooded by natural light, allowing meditation and relaxation. The architecture and its interiors are inspirational not only because of the interesting layout, but because of the amazing impact to the environment, taking it in the design concept and implementing it well.
