Modern Construction Embodied into a Classical Dream Home
This is The Mid-North Residence, designed and completed by Vinci Hamp Architects, a modern construction located in Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago. It is another example of stability and complexity of structure, a perfect place which fulfill the dreams of a real family. The entrance is serious, organized and well-balanced.
The most recent transformation of the house was a gallery and an artist’s studio. In the exterior the masonry walls are measuring 9,100 square foot, with a commercial architecture, but the accent stays on the courtyard which is clean, large and pleasant. The interior design is focused on complementing the courtyard. But, in addition to this feature, the interior space is cozy and warm, elegant and practical, creating an atmosphere of relaxation and intimacy. The predominant colors are white and gray shapes, blue, which induce the idea of water in the pool. The bedrooms are located on the upper floors, which are provided with outdoor terraces. There is also a small basement where you can find the mechanical, storage and exercise rooms.
Cozy and intimate bedrooms, small details of color, contrasting white and offering harmony and personality, elegant bathroom and well equipped kitchen define the entire character of this perfect house.
