Caufield Extension Home – a Blue Lagoon Watched by Palm Trees

Australian architecture firm Bower Architecture has completed the contemporary Caufield Extension 1 home in Caufield, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The architects have transformed a 70?s ranch into a two story modern home.

The house as seen through the amazing blue of the swimming pool looks like Eden, a paradise blue lagoon, a place of unforgettable memories. The straight palm trees overlooking the water, the comfortable deck chairs induce a pleasant holiday atmosphere of laziness. The design of the house is interesting and modern. The idea of combining built form with landscape and dividing the house into open and connected living areas creates many open spaces, from the double height entry atrium gallery to the hidden oasis.

This oasis is the soul of the house and it creates a series of living spaces with sofas and daybeds for resting and relaxation, dining areas, kitchen space and bathrooms, even an outdoor shower, all arranged around the swimming pool. Elegant furniture with interesting design, spacious rooms and light are as many characteristics of this splendid house for vacations!
