Glen 2961 house – A Perfect Combination of Domestic Aspect and Modernity
Glen 2961 House represents a creative collaboration of Three 14 Architects and it is located on Glen Avenue in Higgovale, with its boundaries in the South East. The villa has not a spectacular shape, but rather a modern and normal one, allowing it to face the tough winds and to develop beautiful gardens.
The building is spacious and allows enough space for all of the family’s requests but, in the same time, it creates separate private spaces within the house, providing a cozy, homely atmosphere, in spite of the strong winds from the mountain. All the houses’ levels are connected to the gardens through terraces. The interiors are elegant and spacious, with concrete walls, painted bagged brickwork, oak cabinetry and ceilings. There is even a fireplace in the living space for the windy nights and the fluidity between interior and the gardens is assured by sliding aluminum doors and glass handrails. The kitchen remains the central point of the first floor area and the living is huge, comfortable, with generous dining space for many persons.
