Spa House Displaying an Incredible View
This Spa House is a Metropolis Design, located in Hout bay, coastal suburb of Cape Town, South Africa. It is a multifunctional building with living rooms and spa places for recreation, integrated in a delightful mountain setting.
Looking from one lateral side of the building you realize the interweaving of three elements: green luxurious vegetation, blue water of the exotic pool and the concrete of the house in the middle. So, the house is conceived like a giant binding between two vital elements: earth and water.
The floor planes provide contrasting experiences of water. There is an underwater spa with large viewing windows into the pool, which creates the illusion of a mysterious travel into a submarine, penetrating into a world of blue silence.
The house offers a suspended terrace over a large pool. You can easily recreate yourself, swim or just lay on the comfortable chairs. There is much light inside the building, coming from large floor to ceiling windows, which provides a splendid view to the astonishing mountain landscape. White furniture, garnished with exotic colored flowers, large bathrooms, in sand stone, buried into water like in a deep world of silence complete the overwhelming flux of sensations offered by this Spa House.
