Contemporary Gomez Residence Presenting a Volumetric Architecture
Simple volumetric architecture was the source of the inspiration for the designers who decorated the building named Gomez residence. The house is characterized by a contemporary style, modern and spacious, a very used approach for a lot of buildings these days.
What is so special about this building is the way the designers blended the two colors, black and white giving it a very special appearance, a unique look can say from my opinion and a combination of transparency and opacity. This idea is not very often seen in this kind of buildings.
A zone is separating the two floors that still connects between the space created for when you’ll want to stay alone with your thoughts, or read a book, listen to music and space specially arranged meetings with close friends. Marta Gonzales Architects tried to design their idea of a dream house, to better resemble with what people want in terms of great houses, that place called home sweet home. All the windows from the building have large dark frames with transparent details, something new in the designing of the houses. Outside the house is build a nice terrace where you can invite your friend for a barbecue in the weekend or for couple of drinks to celebrate a nice event. The living is huge and wonderful arranged specially made for a big party with friends.
