Turkcell Maltepe Plaza by mimaristudio

Turkcell Communication Services Building Management Department led the renovation of Turcell Maltepe Plaza. In 4 months mimaristudio completed their work and the result was a fancy plaza. The project’s main objective was to design a social area were the young employees could work in better conditions. Before making the plans the architects interviewed the employees and noticed their needs, this was the only way to make sure that their work will be appreciated.

In the administrative wing was renovated the fitness room, locker rooms and public toilets. In the South and North wings was renovated the break out rooms, coffee stations, interior landscapes areas, toilets, restaurants, it is a new atmosphere, more pleasant and the employees will enjoy it for sure. The materials were chosen from the same domain only the furniture varies from one department to another depending of their demands. The open workspaces including break out areas, coffee stations have the same design. This and the other communal spaces like the two existing atriums and the other eight communal spaces from all the floors have the same characteristics. In this way the architects provide multifunctional design elements, specific furniture that formed a modern and comfortable social area.
