Great Mountain Residence with Incredible Views
This beautiful and contemporary Chalet Béranger residence has been designed by French designer and interior architect Noé Duchaufour Lawrance and is located in St Martin de Belleville, a village in the middle of Les 3 Vallées in the French Alps.
It’s a beautiful 5,700 square foot alpine ski lodge, that incorporates modern elements, which is really an interesting fact, because usually the interior design used for mountain residences uses a traditional aesthetic with rustic elements. Though, the wood is a crucial element when we’re talking about a mountain villa, and also is the stone, which can also be found in the architecture of this building.
The living room combines contemporary with rustic elements, a very interesting mix, and the color palette used includes light wood and grey nuances. The rustic feeling is given by the solid wooden beams and the fireplace located right in the middle of the room as the focal point. The furniture, that suspended chair provide a modern approach. The bedroom is really stunning, the bed seems to float and the light is provided on two sides, the natural light from outside and the light that comes under the bed. The result is a fluid and modern design, with a set of lines and organic forms composed around a wooden ribbon.
