Striking Architecture: Abu Samra House by Symbiosis Designs

This gorgeous Samra House has been designed by Symbiosis Designs and displays an incredible architecture in a desert area, in Amman, Jordan.

The architecture of this house works perfectly with the landscape, a quite spectacular landscape that tries to describe the beauty of the desert region. Now, speaking about the interior design which seem a little cold and clinical, the designers used a minimalist approach, with a very simple combination of black and white that seem to conquer the entire space and there are just a few elements and features that are highlighted such as a few pieces of furniture, and those spectacular stairs that creates an optical illusion and creates a connection between the two levels of the house.

One of the most important elements that helped a lot at the architecture resulted is that exterior free-standing wall that doesn’t have any function, although it may be used as a sun control wall or as a wind block since it’s located on a desert plateaux , but I’m pretty sure that its only purpose is as a decorative element to accentuate a striking aesthetic that completes the design. The house provide a great outdoor pool, perfect for those hot sunny days in the desert.
