Incredible House of an Interior Designer
We always share different designs and different ideas from some great designers. But most of the interior designs we see are based on some criteria and the requirements of the owners. Today i’ve found something interesting, that reflects the free mind and purest ideas of an interior designer, without being constrained by the owners, because this is the home of an interior designer.
This amazing house belongs to the Swedish interior designer Marie Olsson Nylander, and represents the serenity we all dream about, a place where you can relax and enjoy everyday of your life. The residence is located in Arild, Sweden, and displays an interesting mix of interior design sources, combining the high tech with several vintage elements in a great house. As soon as the designer and her husband bought the villa, they’ve started to renovate the entire space. So, the white walls became blank canvases for the interior decorations and furnishings while the many windows allow the natural light to enter in the interior and to spread on every corner of the room.
One of the most important elements of this house is an old and timeless circular staircase that connects the two floors and gives you the feeling that you’re stepping into another life. The pieces of furniture use for the interior design are just spectacular, and here we can mention a dining room table from Egypt, paintings from artist Tove Mauritzon, and an old gymnastics terminal turned into a bench.
