Uro House by 7XA Taller De Arquitectura
Uro House is designed by a Mexican architecture firm 7XA Taller De Arquitectura. This modern residence is placed on a 5000 square meter plot of land and it has amazing views of Sierra Madre mountains. Actually it is located between two trees, the plot is big enough so it did not imposed any restrictions. The trees on the amount are a pleasant landscape and also they provide shadow when the sunlight is too stronger. The connection of this modern house with its natural neighborhood was realized through the terrace. It is not only responsible for this connection but it is also practical.
The residence has an L-shape, one entrance on the front through the garden and one entrance on the back through the terraces. On the ground floor are the public areas, the living room, kitchen. On this floor the walls were replaced almost entirely by ceiling-to-floor glass walls. From the living room can be admired the beautiful landscape or the owners could pass easily outside to enjoy the fresh air. On the semiprivate area things change a little, the use of glass was reduced, the space becomes more intimate. On the first floor are the bedrooms, each of them has large windows so natural light floods the space and the beautiful landscape can be admired.
