Skyfall Apartment – a Symbol of Urban Contemporary Aesthetics
The Skyfall Apartment has been renovated by Studio Omerta and it is located in the center of Athens, Greece. It is situated on the ninth floor and it has a spectacular view to the Acropolis from the living room.
The two bedrooms enjoy a splendid view towards the tiny church of St. George, on the peak of Mountain Lykabettos. The artwork within the space represents a variety of styles within the contemporary genre, most of which concentrate on the human element. The apartment is painted in black, grey and white, being very masculine, with leather furniture and special decorative elements. The glass-topped metal dining table placed on the luxuriant pile of the pale rug brings warmth and intimacy to the apartment. By night you can admire from the glass walls the lights of the city, the place adopting a mysterious ambience.
Access to the bedroom is lit by a futuristic circular lighting installation which continues into the master bedroom, a room with the same masculine tonality, serious and restful, an impressive space of reflexive surfaces, with a leather chaise longue ample space from which to enjoy the unique Lykabettos view. The apartment is a symbol of urban contemporary aesthetics.
