Original Tube House2
Hideki Iwahori is the one that designed the Tube House2. The owners are a young couple that want to use it as a getaway from the Tokyo crowds. It could be quite tiring to live in the heart of such a town so a place like Tube2 is a good idea. The name of the house is inspired by its design based on assembly of partitions, put together they seem to a series of giant tubes.
To keep the house open to the environment, to receive enough light were used floor to ceiling windows. It has a simple rectangular shape and the rooms are designed to be spacious and lit. These characteristics are very efficient for the living space because it has to be clean, welcoming for the family and guests to spend beautiful moments inside.
For the ceiling was chosen a pretty arrangement of synthetic wooden beams that has a strong influence to the design. Due to the thermal storage layer included into the foundation the temperature of the room will not be affected by the fact that they live in open air. Clean, spacious and well organized this would best describe Tube House2.
