This modern and beautiful lightning called Wig Light has been designed by Chris Hardy and is an gorgeous pendant lamp, perfect to create the atmosphere of an elegant and sophisticated room.
The concept idea of the Wig Light was inspired by the organic social structure formed through the relationships that connect an individual to a greater community. The result is a diffuser lamp made up by combining and bringing together curved petals in white glossy varnished metal supported by cables. The ceiling rose has the same color as the shade, while the adjustable hanging cables are made from steel and the lower diffuser disc is composed of satin methacrylate. The lamp incorporates forty individual pieces at eight levels and eight petal lengths.
The idea of the architect was to create an interesting and unique concept that can be represented through form and refers to a single mass constructed of smaller individual elements. The Wig is really a beautiful piece of art, perfect for a room that needs to be highlighted. The light reflects off the back of one petal onto the front of another petal and it gives the light a lot of depth, making it just perfect for a modern room, or if you want to create an intimate atmosphere.
