Intimate and Cozy Retreat by Amy Alper

The Creekside cabin is a house located in Santa Rosa, California, a perfect retreat out of civilization, in the middle of nature. It brings a modern atmosphere in the old construction and opens up the interiors to receiving natural light and splendid views.

The house is situated among fir trees and looks like a house from a tale. Seeing from backwards, it looks like a chalet. There are large pane window walls reflecting the green fir trees light and maximizing views to the ever changing natural setting beyond.

The interior is cozy, wooden floors and ceilings in shades of brown, warm fire in the fireplace, reminding the leaves’ whir and the continuous flow of the watercourse, relaxing chocolate leather coaches and floor to ceiling windows, replacing walls, providing a panorama over the entire wood. The kitchen is well equipped and it has wood furniture in its natural color, being a combination between modern and rustic elements. The same situation for the bathroom, with wooden frames for windows, sand stone and modern sinks. It is a really down-to-earth house. It integrates itself into nature, being in complete harmony with the surrounding forest.
