Gorgeous Beach House by Alexander Gorlin Architects

This amazing and elegant Southampton beach house has been designed by Alexander Gorlin Architects and is located on a 12,000 square feet area, between the ocean and the bay, in Long Island. The house is actually a vacation home for a family of four.

This is one of my favourite vacation houses, because it combines some great elements but it also offers some stunning views of both the bay and ocean. The architects thought about using an elegant and clean architecture, quite simple in form, but inside, the house is very rich in texture, color and detail, exuding a warm cozy feeling. Seems like each detail was chosen with a lot of attention, because the final result is just spectacular.

The interior of the house is organized around a large, open living area, where the focal point is represented by the central fireplace, which subtly partitions the space in two, creating both an informal dining room and a sitting area. The living room opens onto a terraced patio and pool beyond. My favourite place from this entire house is the terraced patio, a really great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful evening with the family. It provides some great views of the ocean, which at one point seem so connect with the beautiful sky.
