Bentini Headquarters by Piuarch

Bentini Headquarters is located in Faenza, Ravenna, Italy on a sparsely populated area. Piuarch studio designed it according to the highest standards of quality. The building is set back from the road, it consists of a single volume that combines simple lines with flexible interior spaces and a well-organized floor plan. This building office got a top floor where the local residents can set events or conferences.

The façade from the street side has a modular grid of angled solar filters over the glass that divided the façade into different rectangular volumes. This gave a distinctive character, it is not only practical but also superimposing. While the south façade limits the visual field, the rear façade is made entirely in glass so the surrounding countryside can be admired. The architects wanted for this building to be screened on the street side but open to the landscape. In this way natural light is still provided but is avoided the crowded city. Instead the beauty and the silence of the nature is more relaxing and pleasant, this is the reason why the rear façade captures this landscape.

Piurach design is simple and clean with modern lines and well defined volumes that helps on defining a well organized structure.
