A Glimpse of Summer Holiday Inside of a Beach House

The Ludwig Apartment is located in San Francisco, California and it is created by Craig Steely. Originally, the place had four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The architect succeeded to transform the old place, through a new approach, allowing the inhabitants of the house to enjoy the sight, admiring the beauty of the blue waves through large floor to ceiling windows, and relaxing in a spacious living room with a large panorama through the ocean.

The house offers now a splendid view looking north and south. The materials used to make the transformation are handmade mosaic tile walls, which are a surprisingly interesting and original element, inducing the idea of beach, sand and shells, slabs of black walnut and gun blued steel. The colors are appropriate to the landscape, white walls and furniture and chocolate brown floors, combined with the blue of the ocean outside, induce a feeling of relaxation, vacation and wellness. The spaces are ample and there is plenty of light inside, the bathrooms are elegant, full of glass walls, watery colored, beautiful flowers providing calm, equilibrium, peace and holiday. The house has become the ideal place to spend a summer holiday on the beach.
