Glamorous Casa Camino by Parque Humano

Talking about stunning houses, this one is just there, prepared to conquer everything. Casa Camino is its name and was designed by Mexico City-based architecture firm Parque Humano. The site is also beautiful, the house being located at an elevation of 1,450 m above sea level, to make you feel on top of the world.

Its splendid semi-arid climate plot allows for temperatures of maximum 38 and the lows reaching slightly below -8° C with rare snowfall but common frost from December to March. Being located on a great hillside, the architects have tried to take advantage of this and to privilege the views to the city and beyond, and the panorama hills of the valley by using some great floor to ceiling windows. The structure of this house represents a mix of steel and concrete, plus outer faces of stone to create a better rapport with the surroundings.

The interior design is absolutely fabulous, the inside walls are painted in white stucco, while the ceilings are lined with wood. The main floor accommodates the living and dining spaces, kitchen, studio and the master bedroom, while the basement accommodates a multipurpose room and 3 bedrooms. The interior is very spacious and modern, and provides a continuity to the exterior, transcending conventional distinctions between inside and outside.
