Paik Nam June Media Bridge, Probably The Most Futuristic and Eco Friendly Bridge
The Paik Nam June Media Bridge looks very futuristic and it will definitely offer a different look to the environment. It has been designed by the Planning Korea architects and it will feature some pods with a museum, IT centre and library.
The bridge will carry pedestrians, cyclists and cars from the former Dangi-li Power Plant to the National Assembly across the Han River. This really is probably the bridge with the most functionalities, as it can be access by boats and water taxis too and it has solar panels to generate power and it can also display video projects. You can view the project live in Seoul at the Boutique Monaco Museum until November 12th.
The Paik Nam June Media Bridge will also have self-sustainable green spaces on every floor, with water from the river and rain, while it will be lighted and vented naturally.
