Clock Tower Kitchen by Minimal
The Clock Tower is one of the largest poured concrete building in New York. It has been erected in 1915 on the DUMBO waterfront. MINIMAL USA was chosen to renovate the Clock Tower, the most expensive apartment in Brooklyn.
What was used once as a machine room for the clocks is now transformed into an 6,500-square-foot apartment that can offer the most impressive view of New York. Stefano Venier chosed the style and charm of Italian ingenuity for designing the kitchen.
Bartolomeo Bellati in collaboration with Stefano Venier and employs decided to import materials from Italy in order to create a glam system. The design is about flat planes and clean lines that are create by the 45-degree angles side panels, those belong to the cabinetry edges, as well as the refrigerator door, the wine cooler and the upper cabinets.
The cooktops and the countertops that are made of stainless steel are build with separate swing-doors, the stainless-steel drawers have soft-closing mechanisms. From the world`s finest appliance manufacturer, Gaggenau comes the fridge, wine cooler, dishwashers, cooktops and ovens.
Due to its design the counter can be used also as a upporting surface, food preparation table, cooking space or gathering area. The Italian style was well chosen for creating the kitchen that perfectly integrates the four Clocks.
