Eero Saarinen created the MIT Chapel for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1955.
With dynamic and fluid forms, it is more than a religious building.The interior is full of spectacular details and atmospheric qualities that are enhanced by filtered natural light. In this amazing atmosphere you can meet with yourself, feel the solitude and escape.
The facade is windowless, so the exterior of the volume masks the interior of the chapel where the walls undulate around the circumference of the chapel.
