There are four bedrooms in the house and are all positioned on the East side. In this way the owners will have sunny mornings, they can wake up being caress by the sun.

The connection between the leaving room and dining room is made through large glazed sliding doors, it ensures continuity and in the same time separates the areas when needed.

Casa Xieira II is based on simple lines, twisting volumes and clean spaces. From the pedestrian entry can be observed the curvilinear shapes of the concrete walls. There are many contrasts between the rough materials and the organic shapes but this is what is making this house special with its minimalist but fragile style.

The office design and the techniques are inspired by Chinese culture, it can be observed the creative thinking and also the contemporary influence. Actually their culture was revitalized with the energy given by the contemporary style, the colors and the lines that bring life and positive vibes.  Traditional culture was used in its metaphorical forms, so weakness caused by symbolic fragments could be avoid, these are embraced with minimalistic elements. From the first part came the water, bamboo, mountain, courtyard and from the last part, the modern one, came the colors and the lines.

Fashion shows, product design, conceptual automotive shows can be admired inside of this cloud. To continue the organic description I could say that the only triangular window is actually a flock of birds flying. Imagine an automobile exhibition, these look very heavy in a normal showroom but here they will be weightless. On the first floor was placed the lobby and café, then, on the next level and also on the third one are organized the exhibitions.

The museum curves, the shadows and the intense colors made from this building the perfect showroom. To ensure flexibility in scale and function were made movable walls. The lines from the interior are the same with the exterior one, the continuity of the curving space gives this smooth organic form. OCT Museum is 300 meters from the ocean, it seems to float above the ground, just arrived from another planet.

Shibori is a real passion in Hiroshi Murase’s life for more than 40 years. He is working with love and patience, searching all his life for perfection. This is why the quality of Suzusan products is flawless. The motivation of the talented director is admirable. His products are sold to important designer as Junya Watanabe, Calvin Klein, Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto. The fans of Suzusan products can visit Suzusan Showroom located in Dusseldorf, Germany’s fashion capital. Murase’s son opened the showroom in 2008 so the family business could thrive. It was an important step in the business world of Japan.

Architects AMLWRLD in collaboration with clients Adam Ferrante (Rose St Artist Market) and Mark Grixti (The European/ Supper Club) made a great team. They thought that the dining space design should be in a great relation with what it’s serving. The answer was the image of the French wine that expresses gentle force and beautiful colors. The selected materials were burnished brass, blackened steel. History was an important element for their plans, it is reflected by the circling moat that separates old from new with blue surfaces.

Ferrante managed the project and took care of the collaborations. Qube Constructions are the builders that made from the existing building the one that is now bringing out the character and the history of the site. The handmade lighting was realized by Volker Haug and Urchin Associates brought the graphic designers. The collaboration was a real success!

The rooms orientation was decided in order to capture the beautiful landscape, the public rooms, study and master are west oriented and the guest bedrooms east orientated. From the entrance can be observed that major rooms are on the left side of a long gallery. The space division was realized with long spans , the ceiling height starts at twelve feet and goes to thirty feet.

The house is made from two volumes created by a twelve-foot stone wall of moss rock.  Materials used for floors, walls and ceiling is black walnut and for the exterior sandstone and stucco. The energy sources ensures a great temperature during cold winters and hot summers.

The three storey building has interconnected rooms, easy circulation plan, revealing a strong connection between inside outside spaces. The employers needs can be observed clearly in the design, they used the peculiarity brought forward by steel construction to get the ideal shape. The Persia carpet was a reference when were taken dimensions for the dining room, the walls are double layered and inside the surface of them are placed shafts, niches, doors, wardropes.

This house is built on a steel structure of 60 cm X 60 cm grid dimensioning. With no exterior corners, a colorful interior design, colorful light and orange exterior, spacious and comfortable this modern house fulfills the owner’s demands. Orange House is a special house with unique decorative elements.

On the ground floor was extended the existing envelope, ceiling and floor levels and was inserted an open plan with the kitchen, dining and living room. Because the cathedral volume permitted it, was added a new floor that was connected by a large sculpted, open stair with the other one. Areas got spacious with sliding doors and pivoting windows. Because the project was actually about extending the old residence, there are many contrasts in the area, fine steel plate elements with the weatherboard cladding profile, western red cedar.

Children and adults areas are slightly separated, the open plan volume is meant for day activities and on the next level are the private rooms, those for evening activities like watching TV, reading. Finally on the third floor are the bedrooms and the study area. In the end the new part blend well with the existing house, so now the owners can enjoy their new, spacious and modern home.

The vases have simple shapes and are made entirely in sand, in Japanese temples the conic shape is where god first came and the sand heap represents the divine spirit. Even if they are simple lines, this form has a big significance in Japanese mythology. It is also used for laying cornerstones in ceremony. As children were inspired by culture and created this game the same did Yukihiro Kaneuchi.
