Marcio Koga designed House 6 for a young family which had a special demand, they wanted that their house to be covered on the exterior. House 6 is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil and it has an impressive architecture. The house is structured in two volumes and an annex in the back. In the annex is the home office, in the lower volume are located the kitchen, living room. The upper volume is reserved for the private spaces bedrooms, bathrooms and a small multi-use living room alongside an upper deck.
The house is special through its architecture, the idea of veranda was reinvented, this one is opened to the garden and the pool. Here is the area were the owners can enjoy spending their time outside, relaxing or swimming. At the ground level is the public space: the living room, the TV room and an extension of the internal kitchen, this area is strongly connected with the outside through the glass wall. The dinner room and the living room are not separated, they share the same welcoming atmosphere in tones of brown and dark red.
