Elegant Design Approach: Lake Lugano House
It’s time to present you something absolutely spectacular, that we’ve found recently. We’re talking about a beautifully constructed villa named Lake Lugano House, designed by Italy-based architecture firm JM Architecture.
The structure of this round-edged glass house is made of two volumes, each of them located on different levels due to the topography of the site. The first volume which is on top level host the living room, dining room, kitchen, and storage areas while the second volume include the bedrooms, bathrooms, and garage. Since it’s a stunning modern house, the sustainability is one of the most important aspects that interfere in the construction of the house, there were used highly eco-friendly materials, geothermal energy, roof gardens, and low-emittance glass insulation.
The interior design is minimalist, very simple and immaculate, displaying a white furniture in combination with a light wood floor, with only a few black pillows that breaks the monotony. Being all covered in glass, it offers some incredible views of the surroundings, one of them that overlooks a mountain range and the other overlooking the lake. I personally don’t really like that the entire house is all covered in glass due to the lack of privacy.
