Presenting you a charming holiday home located on a beautiful site in the busy metropolis of Mt Maunganui, New Zealand. The house is sheltered by an imposing pohutukawa tree, which is absolutely beautiful and you can just admire its robustness.
The concept idea of this house was first of all to create a house with a comfortable and relaxing environment, a place that can offer you flexibility for extended family holidays, because that’s the few things we’re looking for when we want to spend some quality time with family or friends. The primary idea was to design a single bedroom home and an open plan living area orientated towards the sun, that could offer some incredible views towards the Pacific Ocean, but the final result was a four bedroom holiday home with a modern design. There’s also a sheltered outdoor living area located between the new home and the cottage, a perfect place for social occasions.
The interior is highly refined and you can see how it embrace the natural light, displaying various elements and materials that have been specifically chosen to provide a friendly environment. It’s all about creating a cozy yet sustainable home, where you can spend some quality time.
