Botanica Sales Office and Showrooms

Vin Varavarn Architects Ltd. designed the Sales Office and Showrooms for the new Botanica Condominium located in Kao Yai National Park in Pakchong District NakornRtchasima Province, Thailand. The owner, Scentical Developments Co Ltd asked for the design to be original and perfectly integrated with the beautiful natural environment.
The project includes a sales office, two showroom buildings and toilet facilities. The exterior wall of the showrooms is bamboo paneling made, sprayed with glossy black paint. Having this project made by small buildings instead of a big air-conditioned building was a good idea for enclosing them in the middle of nature. As the buildings are connected through an outdoor elevated walkway the clients or the marketing team can admire the environment while passing to another building.The architecture is simple, the atmosphere relaxing.
The designs of the showrooms and the sales offices are different. In the sales office, above the reception is a sky light and above it a steel roof structure so the light can come in and the inhabitants will be protected in the hot days. While this area is light, made by steel structure, frameless glazed paneling, the showrooms have a more solid character. Using local construction materials the connection with the nature was a real success.
