Colorful and Impressive Phinney Modern
This delightful house has been designed by Pb Elemental Architecture and is located in Seattle’s Phinney Ridge neighborhood, Washington. The residence was build on a small site of 2000 square feet.
The thing about this house is that it was build on a challenging site at 2510 square feet, covering a portion of the southwest corner, and because the building covered almost the entire yard the designers have tried to capture the outdoor space on the structure. The interior design is very colorful and full of light, every piece of furniture seems to be carefully chosen and i really like the lacquered white used all over the place because it creates a very friendly and fresh environment. It features a great contrast between the furniture and the wall coverings, using bright and bold colors all over the place.
The roof terrace is my favourite place, it’s unique and un-conventional, it overlooks Ballard and the Puget Sound and makes you feel like you own the city. To maintain a visual connection to the street, there was designed a stair to the main living level which can be seen from outside, so you can capture the activity and movement from inside.
