Colorful and Appealing House by Hernandez Silva Arquitectos
This contemporary home called Godoy House has been designed by Hernandez Silva Arquitectos and is located in a private neighborhood outside the city in Jalisco, Mexico. The house is separated by the street by a large line of trees, and has two entrances on north.
The structure is formed by two bodies, one that is a large box covered in gray stone and gives the impression that it levitates over the street and offers enough space for car parking, while the other body is quite transparent and large, made entirely as a volume of windows to the north and west and being used as a pedestrian entrance. This transparent volume expand from the entrance to the side of the trees. Since the house has an elevated platform it features different uneven levels that flow in various directions.
The interior design is just amazing, combining a large color palette in a great manner, the living room looks so cozy and comfortable, using a beautiful red furniture in combination with a modern black rug. The same idea takes place in the bedroom, which i love the most, seems like every color was carefully chosen for each of those furniture pieces, and that combination of black and red is just so delightful.
