Mesmerizing private house by Oded & Elizabeth Tal Architects
In Herzelia, near the Mediterranean Sea, Oded & Elizabeth Tal Architects designed a gorgeous residence. The project is on four levels, build on a long sight of 800 sqm. This imposing house, very spacious and high is well protected against curious people and noise.
On the basement was located a cinema and three bathrooms, here the light comes shy through the windows ensuring good atmosphere for a movie or a night’s rest. On the ground floor outside was placed a pretty pool. The connection between the two spaces inside-outside is made through large ceiling to floor glass walls. It is very important for the rooms at this level to receive natural light because here are located the public rooms like the living room, the kitchen. The white, high walls, many light sources, modern furniture and decorations made brought here a modern, vivid atmosphere. If this was the colored corner there is also a black and white one, even if it may sound as a sober space it is not. The light, the use of glass got a familiar atmosphere for the house. This style was used for the hallway, the bedroom and bathroom. The child’s rooms is simple, white walls, some paintings and the color palette includes white, pink and the rest of the colors brought by toys. The colored furniture blends in a beautiful contrast with the neutral walls.
