When designing a house it is very important that it functions as well as it looks. Overlook House is the best to illustrate this idea. An interesting division of spaces was made using light as the limits creator. On a single open plan are located the kitchen, the living room and the dining room distinguished by light, for example in the kitchen is used a focused task lightning, one window, the living room is spacious and has large windows.
Light, proportion and the configuration of space are very important items in designing a house and they not affect the project cost in a significantly way. Form and function have to be in perfect harmony as it should be design with livability and this depends on the architect. A house has to be fully functional, focused on light and energy efficiency. Sustainability is a very important characteristic, if you want to live in your house the longest then its project was rightly designed.
