Spoon Plus by Aïssa Logerot
If you are one of these people that ask for a cutlery when you are on an Asian restaurant, then Spoonplus is the perfect concept for you. Due to designer Aissa Logerot even eating soup with chopsticks is possible. It is about a hybrid of spoon and chopsticks that forms a pair of chopsticks with a small dish for sauce.
This new kind of cutlery is evolving between tradition and innovation. Aissa Logerot combined traditional skills with industrial design, the result is an object with essential lines, simple, with functional aesthetic. She said: “As a designer, I do not conceive a particular aesthetic ideal, I especially appreciate the simplicity of forms reflecting the evidence of a function, of a use”.
For a menu mainly served in Japanese restaurants, at first dish until the end of the meal (sushi, sashimi, satay meat skewers with a bol of rice) the spoonplus seems to be the perfect cutlery on the table.
This concept is a real innovation for people who love Japanese food but they are not good at eating it in the traditional way.
