Contemporary Zamel House by Kontrast Arquitectura
This gorgeous house has been designed by Kontrast Arquitectura architects and is located in La Bocana, Bahías de Huatulco, Oaxaca, Mexico. It was specially designed for a couple from Los Angeles who love the Huatulco with its wonderful beach and natural beauty.
The house is located on a great site near the beach and offers some incredible views, creating a wonderful frame for the magnificent setting and allowing the ocean breezes to keep a cool atmosphere in the entire house during the tropical days in Huatulco. The concept idea was to design a house that could offer views of the ocean from all the main spaces, and one of the most important decision was to raise the house above the level of the beach. With this decision being made, there was created a privacy and safety atmosphere from the ocean with an easy access to the beach.
The passage to the house leads to a amazing pond complete with water fall and planked bridge for your final approach into the house, creating a great place where you can relax and connect with nature. The interior is very spacious and the design is very modern. A great ceiling to floor glass across the entire front offers spectacular views over the beach and the suite is completed by a walk in closet and ocean view office.
