Los Gatos home was designed by Fuse Architecture and it is located in Santa Cruz, California, USA. It is placed on a hillside on a south-facing slope, due to its location the owners can enjoy the amazing views of the Santa Cruz Mountains. The design allows to the natural light to fill the house, to bring a warm, illuminated atmosphere in every room.
The exterior walls are made by Swiss Pearl, fiber cement panels that are utilizing a rain-screen system. Due to this system the house can be easily kept cooler in the summer and it also allows a breathable barrier between the siding and the waterproofing. This innovative panels don’t need maintenance, staining or painting. Isn’t this great? Besides the fact that they are protecting from the sun and cold they are also easy to keep clean, they need only to be wiped of the dust from time to time. They are perfect for a harsh mountain weather.
The house provides comfort, privacy, incredible views, everything for an amazing vacation. It is big enough for one family and its friends also to spend some time together. The house is spacious, modern, nestled into the hillside.
