Green Transformer – Solar-powered algae refinery floats on water

Green Transformer was presented at the Seoul International Design Competition 2010. Liu Luo Jing Jiang Yu Ning wanted that his product to extract valuable bio-oil from algae in pools and ponds. For his algae refinery he used only natural energy- solar power.

During the suction, it is using a certain chemical additive to produce biodiesel for automobile and vessels. The floating processing plant has an important role in removing pollutants from our water bodies too. When it is not used, the Green Transformer folds itself and also the solar panels.

The algae refinery includes solar panels (the power of Green Transformer), solar panels storage, LED alarm light(prevent colliding with vessels), detachable oil tank, an entrance for the algae, outlet and another LED alarm light at the bottom.

When working the solar panels float on the water and when the use is not required anymore they can fold in order to be easy to move. The outlet is controlling the direction by drained direction.

It is obvious that the energy crisis will be sterner with each day, week, month that passes, this is the reason why Liu Luo Jing Jiang Yu Ning created Green Transformer with this eco design.
