City Square – Service and Cultural Center
Yaniv Pardo Architects designed the City Square – Service and Cultural Center that is located in Holon, Israel. It will be an activated space for culture, leisure and commerce and it will include residential units and a concert hall. This imposing project involves a town square to be located in front of the building that will host outdoor events, conferences and youth activity.
It will be attractive not only with its amazing architecture but also because it will provide neighborhood presence to the community programs. The building will be accessible in any moment of the day so the area will be populated and the building will never sleep What will make it more interesting is that into the higher floors of the building and the surrounding landscape, the town square will ascend. In the center of the building will stand an enormous amphitheater that will merge with the underground floors and parking area.
Between the prismatic blocs where will be located the offices and other various functions the traffic will run horizontally and between the vertical elements on the ground floor. The windows and the glass walls show Holon, they create a smart green wall that creates shading and like a symbol of the country the windows were chosen in sand dunes forms.
