This amazing Chuckanut Drive Residence has been designed by Miller Hull Partnership and is located on a heavily wooded cliff site in Bellingham, Washington, USA.

And because it’s so gorgeous, the house was awarded an American Institute of Architects Housing Award. The structure is quite simple, and the roof forms express the timber construction with exposed joist and plywood diaphragms. The interior design is very warm and cozy due to the use of wood that also provide thermal break. The residence offers some beautiful views out over the San Juan Islands of Washington State.
