Minimalist White Street Loft by WORKac
This modern apartment has been designed by WORKac and is located in New York, USA. The plan was to design an amazing space for urban living for a family of four, that would embrace a great diversity of materials and spaces, but also kinetic interventions to transform spaces.
Called the White Street Loft, this minimalist apartment is based on a innovative concept, which is to divide the space into a series of programmatic “stripes” in order to accommodate different functions, moods and materials, but also to break down the length of the apartment into a promenade of experiences.
The ground-floor stripes are connected by a series of unique tables. The Skylight strip employs the glass, voids, an outdoor courtyard to distribute light among all of the levels, while the rear garden is just like a small stripe of green.
