Dash Marshall is the designer of the minimalist apartment for space-age lovers located in Kips Bay, New York.
His clients come from the future and they want a 715 square feet apartment to charge up between missions where every single little thing could be hidden away. Dash realised that the house will be familiar to them if he uses smooth surfaces and strong reflections. He made the rooms larger and he used sliding partitions so the owners can recombine the rooms of their apartment at will.
Another strategy is the Black Hole- a flexible zone which can be annexed to any room where Space-Age Lovers want to hide something. An important addition is the sens of depth used as a workspace.
